Off-Season Dinner Pop-ups

We are now in the off-season! And for the first time ever, we are opening the doors of the inn for a monthly dinner pop-up series, presented by Matt & George. See below for dates, menus, and details.

  • The Mardi Gras Dinner Feast on Tuesday, February 17, from 6-8pm. Welcome to our “Fat Tuesday” extravaganza, with a menu that’ll have you traveling down to NOLA from right here in Maine. Matt & George have always loved the flavors of the Big Easy, so they will be preparing some bayou classics that’ll have you salivating for more. A three-course meal including shrimp hushpuppies, Commander’s Palace spicy gumbo, and classic king cake. $85pp, festive attire encouraged—call 207-326-8616 to reserve your spot!
  • The Dinner of Five Flags on Saturday, March 7, from 5-8pm. Back for the second time, join us for a one-of-a-kind 5-course meal celebrating Castine’s culinary history. Taste dishes from the five cultures that have lived on our peninsula from Wabanaki to French, Dutch, English, and lastly American. Specifics of the menu will be announced soon.   • The Titanic Dinner, on Sunday, April 12, from 5-8pm. Commemorate the infamous voyage of the RMS Titanic by experiencing the First Class Dinner menu, served on that final fateful night. It’ll be a five-course Gilded Age feast, including salmon mousse on cucumber, vegetable marrow farci, choice of chicken Lyonnaise over rice or filet mignon Lili with potatoes parmentier, asparagus with shallot vinaigrette, and lastly Waldorf pudding, at $125pp. Formal attire encouraged.
